This week I wanted to do something with Syrp equipement again 🙂 I don’t use motion control devices very often, so here’s my another try. Mounting a camera in a car is always quite challanging, especially on a slider. Check out the shot and read details below 😉 For the whole drivelapse tutorial check out this post: DriveLapse – a Car Timelapse [VIDEO TUTORIAL]

For this shot I used full 3 axis motion control equipement, which I get from foto7 i Polish Syrp distributor. This includes Magic Carpet long track slider, two Genie Minis and a Genie. Of course mounting a 1,6m slider in a car is quite hard. It wasn’t perfectly stable, but I think the result is usable. The fornt part was mounted to the tripod (and I put a 5kg weight to stabilize the tripod), the rear part was just lying on the car seat. It was suprisingly stable 😉 The whole pan/tilt Genie setup is not the best for such shaky environments. In post I need to delete some most blurred frames.  For the shot I used 2 sec interval and 0.5″ shutter speed.

I hope you like this shot 🙂 Do you have any shots you’d like to show? Join my Facebook group: http://facebook.com/groups/timelapse.hyperlapse
